The exponential growth of mobile is on the verge of having a disruptive impact on businesses that haven’t adapted. Google announced this year that more searches are now taking place on mobile devices than on desktop computers in 10 countries, including the US and Japan (source: Google Internal Data).
Given Google owns 66% of search market share globally (source: Net Market Share) it’s safe to say that the use of mobile devices to access the internet has officially surpassed desktop usage.
